One of the mega events of tennis, Australian Open was held for the first time in the year 1905. It is held, annually, at Melbourne Park, where players from different country participate and exhibit their skill, fitness and determination to win this game. The tournament organizes both, men's single and women's singles, apart from men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles competition. The men's singles winner is presented with the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup. During the game, organized in the month of January, not only do the top contenders have to battle with the incredible heat prevalent in Melbourne, but also play on an all-new, acrylic surface known as Plexicushion, slightly faster at that time. In the following lines, we have provided a list of Australian Open Men's Singles Winners.
